Should the radiator on a 1967 car be gloss or matt black?

Definitely not glass

Most radiators were painted in a black heat resistant paint that was somewhere between gloss and matt. Maybe visit your local radiator repair shop and ask them what they use? Concours cars tend to be painted with gloss but for everyday use what the radiator specialists use would be fine
