hi just wanted to know has anyone had any problems with their fuse boxes?

as i am having problems with my fuse box as nothing is coming out the other side to make things work!!

so if you had any problems or tips or ideas of how to fix this problem! please reply

Two things to check for:

The fuses can look good, yet be blown. If you have a test light, check it by pulling the fuse, grounding one end on the negative battery terminal and probing the other end (with the test light connected to the pos. battery terminal). If you've got a meter, infinite resistance means a bad fuse.

Secondly, you can have a good fuse in place and still not get anything to the fused side of the circuit. Pull the fuse and clean up the inside of the clips with some fine sandpaper until you get bright metal. Make sure the clips are closed enough to hold the fuse securely and stick it back in. If you don't want to do that again, buy a little tube of dielectric grease and smear some on the contacts.

To repeat my mantra: Everybody should have a test light in the glove box. They're cheap!

Don't assume because it's a new fuse box it will be fine, there are some very poor replacements out there.

I have had 2 glass fuses now that have tested okay with a meter and looked okay but failed with a load. when I broke them open they were corroded inside. Buying new ones worked for me.

That's a new one on me, and I'm glad to know it. It's stuff like this that can drive you crazy.
