my horn has a bit of a cold, when i push the button i can hear a low note and very quietly at that, but not the lovely shrill that Primrose has.

Now its not the usual horn i have (it sounded daft) i out one half of the set of twin tone horns i had from my austin somerset wreck i had, it was over hauled and worked beautifully when put in and worked until about a week ago.

could it of frozen?

Hot water bottle ? Only joking really - it probably needs the contacts cleaning - or perhaps bad connections?

Try Antifreeze :D
Check the wiring, if you unscrew the dome there is an adjuster inside.

sorted it, the pin the sits beneath the points and vibrates on the metal sheet was gummed up and wouldn't move, wipe down and a clean and Primrose has her voice back
