Can anyone help. When I'm braking my steering wheel really shakes. Ive had new brake drums fitted but its still doing it. Any suggestions what it may be.

Well - if we assume the new drums are round ....this suggests worn suspension bushes - especially the tie-bar rubbers right at the front of the car. But could also be worn track rod ends. Who fitted the drums? Were new shoes fitted at the same time? Were the front edges of the shoes tapered with a file before fitting?

That is something I have not heard before (Were the front edges of the shoes tapered with a file before fitting), is this recommended and is not doing it a possible cause of Kateel's problem?

Another possibilty is that the bottom trunion were the fulcrum pin goes through could be worn. I had a knock and sterring wheel shake on my blue minor for ages and had changed lots of things to try and trace it, but with no luck until I found the worn trunion

Yet another possibility is a bulge in one of the front tyres.
These can happen in the tread too so while you have it jacked up to check the other stuff examine the sidewalls carefully and spin the wheels feeling for any high spots on the tread.
Sometimes you can see the dodgy area as there can be cracks in the rubber between the tread.

I had the exact same problem with my moggy , changed the front drums ( brand new ) and the shudder from the front was horrendos , stuck back on the old drums and perfect again . Got replacement and all good , brakes still crap though

Not uncommon for 'new' brake drums / discs to be manufactured incorrect / warped. Try drums of a car that this doesn't happen on.
