Newbie here. Just bought my first Minor 1000 1960 2 door saloon with a redex robot car care system installed.
The one previous owner has sadly passed away so i am unable to establish how the system is replenished. It has a tank in the engine compartment and tubes leading to the gauges in the cab before entering the engine. The tank has no opening to fill it with redex. No obvious filling point. I have searched the internet and this forum but cant find an answer. Can anyone help pls.

Try asking the seller of this item.... You could always make out you are interested in buying

However, it appears to be some sort of Vac gauge.... Not sure what the tank is for unless it is supposed to stabilise the gauge ??

To pour Redex in is my guess, the vacuum gauge will help you drive more economically with, or without Redex

Do what the EBay seller did -- remove it and post it for sale. Or, plumb it so the vacuum gauge works and block off the rest of it. It's an after-market add-on that you don't need, and was probably a bad idea from the get-go.

Lots of different Redex systems and I have about 20 bits of Redex systems here in various boxes. Can you post a pic of any of the bits?

During yesterdays major service the garage removed the whole redex system and are selling it on my behalf. If anyone wants it i can supply the garage contact details.[frame]

I quite like some of the 'bling' on your car, but you need to swap those orange pyramid indicator lenses for clear glass ones with 'chrome' bulbs
