door seals

hi, just spoted on ebay, new door seals to fit a four door, all four seals £26.00 any one on here tried them. cheers

yes i brought these myself figured it was a better deal than 20 for each door, its one massive piece and you just cut it to size, massive difference in road noise and less draught.

one concern is that he is selling a

MORRIS Minor Traveller DOOR SEALS KIT Super! (4 DOOR)

travellers and 4 doors require completly different lengths, i would check before ordering just in case..

also it is not clear if the kit is spring steel or aluminium, it looks like spring steel but it would be worth asking him.

In case you are unaware of the difference, when you push spring steel ones on the steel springs back into place over the clip on the body work. The aluminium ones when pushed over the clips, the metal does not spring back and you need to "close"/"crush" them yourself.

Also worth noting if orginality is your goal the visible trim looks plastic as opposed to fabric as it would have been originaly.

Some seals fit straight onto the door surround after you have removed all those annoying clips.
