Hi all,
I know that theres a few classic bike enthusiasts on here so i thought i'd have an ask.

Has anyone got a 122cc Villiers 10D engine that they dont need/want anymore, as i need one for my bike.
im willing pay of course.

What bike is it being used for a James ?

I get most of my Villiers bits off of eBay but i have found a few websites that do spares and the engine will be going in my Panther :D

Can't think without trawling, but there must be forum sites out there for James/FB/Panther and all the myriads that used the Villiers lump. Think that one was fitted to the earliest Bonds as well. Sites like this but for old post WW2 "utility" motorcycles would be more likely to yield something at a sensible price than selling sites. Afraid mine are all variously worn out Bantam or 9E's (butchered as a result of use in my P65 trials bikes :))

A Panther? My father had a Panther 600 (single) back in the '50s and he reckoned in first gear it would climb a wall. Great to see these lesser known British bikes being saved.

I love my Panther, got it when i was thirteen and doubt ill ever get rid of it. :D

There's a bloke that specialises in the spares for villers engines I'm sure.. their name though escsapes me :oops:

Ex-New South Wales Government Railways Section Car. Basically a quad bike that runs on rails.
