Not too sure what the model number of this is, but has anyone ever tried to renovate one of these. The motor on mine seems to work by the rheostat, but there is little heat coming from the window vents.

Is the water hot? Is the flow adequate? Heater tap wide open - hoses not kinked shut? A good flush out with a hose pipe can make a big difference. The heat exchanger may need a good blowout with an air line - or try a vacuum cleaner extension hose on it...

Otherwise known as a fug stirrer
Check the Y branch is located in the top of the heater and the flexible hoses are connected top and bottom.
No you will not get much air from the vents, opening the quarterlights is much more effective.

I'll go with that sentiment^^^ Despite having an uncomfortably hot heater now, and the more flow efficient Austin 1100 heater box/air diverters, the flow to the screen is still pitiful! Strangely, by removing the drivers side flow spreader which fans the air across the screen(held by 2 screws on dashboard top) and just jamming the end of the pipe in the right general direction of the vent slot, the drivers side demists better than the passenger one which has the proper air deflector/ spreader in place. Looking at the design, it appears a major part of its function is to create a blockage! Am going to experiment with a non-baffled type and see what happens!
If the overall heat output still remains low after flushing, pay a bit of attention to the heater valve itself on the cylinder head, the insides of mine had broken up and were causing a flow obstruction.

In inclement weather any passengers, front or back are issued with a yellow duster and instructed to wipe the windows. If that does not work they are instructed to stop breathing!

I'm with Mike on this one - just have a cloth to hand to wipe the windows and leave the window open. My Lowlight isn't fitted with a heater at all so I just have to put on an extra jumper and do my coat right up!!
