Shame it's in a scrapyard, it doesn't look too bad at all. Possibly even 'part restored', judging by the areas of red oxide and very shiny front chromework (unless that's just the photo).

Does anyone know the current status of this vehicle? Could be an interesting half project?

I'll give him a phone thursday and see what he wants. or go up persionally begging him cos i've been looking for a minor for 6 months and got no where.

Also been told if its been registered as scrap its not worth buying it as dvla won't re register it

Phoned up and its a breaker

FYI it wouldn't need re registering, as far as I'm aware DVLA hold vehicle details for two years after a vehicle has been 'scrapped' just in case anyone wants to put a 'scrapped' vehicle back on the road! I bought a moggy that had been partially stripped from a scrap yard earlier this year and had to apply for the log book after it had been sent off. It cost the usual £25.

Is that even if it's been through the scrappage scheme?

No but if it was scrapped under the scrappage scheme you wouldn't the car in a random scrap yard. There is only one firm that has the job of disposing of the those vehicles - so I'm told anyway...

Saw your pics and rang them as I needed a diff for my Traveller - got an axle for £100. Rare to find all the bits and got free brake parts too.

The grey car could be a goer 500 for a complete anything is good these days but unless you have a handy weldist or some equipment the cost could rise.

Anyway thanks for bringing this yard to my attention. Trust me to pick Easter weekend for buying seals in a hurry:)
