Chrome Grill anyone??

Hi everyone, Im just wondering why Iv never seen a moggie with a chrome grill..no not the grill surround..the whole thing..I think it would look pretty good..call me a moron but ..is there some reason why no one chromes them??..is it not possible??

Probably the cost, plus they would be very prone to stone chipping.

Quite a few have done this on the custom circuit and look good

Can probably modify a Mini one for this if you want. And make it 'front fit' as it is on the Mini for easy access to the engine - once the rad is removed that is!

i recalled that the morris minor on 'pimp my ride' had a chrome grille, but having googled it i've found it was the front panel that was chromed, and the grille slats themselves were body colour:



i would have as little chrome as possible personally, it's hard enough keeping up with the standard stuff rusting!

Well -the Mini 'chrome' grille is aluminium -so just needs a wipe over......
