Just a quick fuel gauge question

Post by Fingolfin »

How does one wire it up? I know, green wire to one terminal and green/black to the other...but on the back of this fuel gauge, there are FOUR terminals.[frame]Image[/frame]
It's the one that goes with this speedometer.[frame]Image[/frame]
I went on and connected the green wire that leads to the oil warning light, and the green/black from the fuel tank sender unit, to the two top terminals (the larger ones) on the fuel gauge. If this is correct, what do the others do? Does it matter which terminal the green wire goes to, and which the green/black goes to?

The lower fixings are the adjustment screws for calibrating the gauge.

Try the wires one way then the other. Whichever works is correct
