Firstly, thankyou to everyone who has helped me with my previous problems - i have got them sorted now.

However, the car has been hesitating on acceleration, so, i replaced the points, plugs, condensor and put a different coil on. I have also set up the timing.

BUT it is still doing it every so often. It can hesitate/"hickup" and then be o.k for another 100miles before it does it again.

Could this be the plug leads??????
I have replaced the one from the coil to the distributor allready.

Suggestions please???

Have you checked the oil level in the carb dashpot it should be level with the shoulder as you look into the chamber after removing the piston, if its low or empty you can use 20/50 engine oil, have you also checked the rotor arm as there have been batches of bad ones reported recently and also what are the contact points in the dizzy cap like, also check that the vaccume advance on the dizzy is working ok, this can be done by removing the pipe at the carb end and sucking hard and you sould see the internals move in the dizzy if all is ok.
