Where do these seals go??

Hi, I have two of these:

But WHERE do they actualy go???

I think they fit in a channel which should be on the underside of the door frame. It will look like a very narrow channel and is designed to stop the draught coming into the car from under the door. It seals against the kick plate.

Maybe the underside of your doors have been repaired with a piece of flat steel and you don't have the channels.

I can confirm these seals go on the under side of the door, bought some similar a while back, only to find the channels were to badly rusted, so haven't fitted them yet.

This channel is available, it's made of very thin metal, and needs careful welding!

Wish the bottom of my door looked that good
Mine has welds on welds, must be all that sunny weather and less rain than we get! The wife and I will be trying some of your weather when we head to her cousins in Shell Harbour, just south of Wollongong NSW

The whole car is like that, I acquired the car from the wifes' auntie three years ago. Been after it for 20 years as it has been garaged all it's motoring life and always been registered (your MOT) and driven daily. Shellharbour is only a 30 minute drive north to Helensburgh, when will you get here in sunny Australia.

We arrive in Aus 22nd Feb, loads of things organised to make the most of our time, got a trip planned to Bright then Boambee Bay then upto Coolangatta Q/land, all by car, then a flight to Perth to see friends, then the long drag home.

i went to a place called pottsville back in september and a few days into my hols i saw a load of moggys driving, they must have been going to a show as there was lots of them, we were on the the way to noosa.. i wanted to turn tound and follw them but the mrs wouldnt let me
