If you have the standard A series 948/1098/1275 engine there will be a drain tap or bolt at the back of the engine block behind the exhaust manifold. Undo this and catch the water/old antifreeze as best you can and dispose of it safely (animals are attracted to antifreeze but it is poisonous to them if they drink it) and fit the bolt/tighten the tap again. If you can't undo the bolt/tap then take off the bottom hose at the the radiator end it's messier but does the same job.

Add antifreeze about 2.5L I think is enough but read the bottle for instructions and then top up the radiator with water to just above the fins. Run the engine up to temprature and check the water level and top up again if required. Keep an eye on the water level for a few days as antifreeze is good at finding leaks that didn't seem to be there before :-?

The stuff in the Poundshop is already diluted if you don't want the hassle. I would just pull the bottom hose off the water pump - NOT off the radiator in case you damage the bottom pipe connection - and certainly DO NOT attempt to undo any drain tap on the radiator because it will almost certainly shear off or rip out of the radiator. Not good news.....
