The indicator switch on my 1969 Minor has failed in that it wont stay in the ''flashing position'' when turning left, there was an audible click when it was last used so presumably something has broken.Does this mean a new switch? Thanks.Bob Claydon

Probably - you would need to take it off and examine.

Depends whether you are mechanically minded or not! For around £50 for a new switch, I soon worked out that the little bits of metal in mine had got crunched due to the spring breaking. With patience, and a small pair of long nose pliers, I soon made a new loop on the spring end and straightened the bent bit of metal that holds the switch "on"!
