Hi, just bought a new reversing light and illuminated switch to fit on my 71 Traveller. No instructions with it !
Could anyone provide step by step instructions for wiring this in ...... Lamp has two short wires ( pink and black), switch has 3 connectors, right , left and middle ( presumed for light in switch). Help much appreciated as electrics not my thing !!

Cheers

Steve

Power feed from green cable behind speedo to switch, wire from switch to pink on light, black on light to clean earth. Simples.... :-? I suppose it's possible the switch may need earthing to make the warning light work. You will just need to experiment with the switch connections........unless you have a meter and can ring it out?

I have run the power supply from the side light terminal of the light switch, that way you are less likely to leave it on. I have also used switches with built in warning lights.
So wiring goes from side light switch to rev. light switch terminal, other terminal to rev. lamp, rev. lamp to earth.
To keep it tidy I had the extra wiring built into my new loom
