Pick-Up Shocks and Bushes

Post by custommartin »

Does anyone know of any up-rated shocks, eg. Spax, that will fit the rear of a Pick-Up and what car they were intended for???

Mine look like the originals and I would like to change them at some point soon.

Also,

Several years ago I bought a set of VERY hard black plastic suspension bushes for the convertible (don't ask me why.....I didn't keep them long!).
But I can't remember where I got them from.
Does anyone know who sells them???

I need to machine up some new bushes and four of these would be ideal.

Thanks.

Martin

Rear mk1/2 Ford Escort shocks, from estate I think as the saloons had threaded stud on top. I bought a pair of Spax for my van ages ago but not got round to fitting them yet.
cheers.

The pulling power of a Turbo Diesel! The voices may not be real, but they have good ideas.

Thanks Robin and Kevin.

Kevin, I thought it might have been them or Grumpies but wasn't sure!

Cheers.
