backplate

please can someone help me.i want to put a 1275 midget engine in my morris and not sure if i need the back plate drilled to fit any help pleas would be greatful thanks

If the backplate is the Midget one - it's fine. If it's a 1098 backplate then it needs opening up around the main bearing opening and the top spigot hole may need to be slightly enlarged.
