A friend wants to put a 32/36 carb on this Morris Minor but is not sure what the jet set up should be. Any one have any idea?
Thanks

Not a great idea - better with a large single HIF SU. What's the engine spec?

I had one of those on a tuned 1300 Polo that pushed out 90bhp so I would have to say it's much too big for a standard Morris engine.

They just don't seem to suit the A series, and such a hassle to set up correctly - and yes - it is on the large side unless for a well modified 1275......

Hello all,
I think that Weber have a good reputation based on their performance carburettors but it doesn't follow that their compound carburettors automatically give a performance boost over other makes.
Even the DCOE series generally only have a slight gain in power over S.U., and for a road car are inferior overall in my opinion. They do look very impressive however.
I have a 38DGAS Weber fitted as standard to my Scimitar and it is so complicated compared to the S.U., and with minute drillings, needs a very clean fuel supply.
