I'd love to take mine round the nurburgring.. just for laughs (maybe for charity or something where people have to guess the time taken (including breakdowns)

)
I think all the people who race them upgrade them a
little bit

mine wasnt bog standard but did have an a series under the bonnet though and at 100mph the steering felt very light due to the lack of aerodynamics and at just over that felt positively dangerous.
my last standard one used to see 85 on the speedo with accompanying big end complaints, but god it was funny doing it occasionally.

hi I can see why your called supercharged!!!!!!

,I'm too worried to go over 65 for any distance,(70 tops so far ) and I usually back down to cruise at 55
What engine did you have for your 100 plus?

Me too!
There was a certain frisson driving down the Mulsanne straight even at Minor speeds

By comparison, a standard(-ish) car does seem to suffer a bit more in the corners.

When I used to do hillclimbs and sprints, my Minor was rock steady at 135mph (although still accelerating quite hard at this speed

) but could become unstable during extremely hard braking at these speeds due to the short wheelbase and the weight moving forward under braking. It used to corner better than it accelerated or braked going by the data logger (the max gs I found were 1.6 to 1.7 cornering, 1.1g accelerating (2nd gear) and 0.95g braking).
It isn't really the aero that makes it a bit iffy at high speed rather than the springing and dampers being inadequate. Above 140 or so then aero is definately an issue! Mind you, at 140 or so in mine I couldn't hear the engine for the wind noise and that was with a crash helmet on.
