why is my little green indicator light staying on in the middle position just rewired car any ideas cheers

Which little green indicator light???? Is it in the speedo? Or on the end of the indicator stalk??

Ahh right - check the connections at the flasher can. Do the flashers work normally ?? Is the light on ALL the time - or just when the Ign is switched on??

the light green wire to the light is continually live is this normal

No. I think that the clue is in the "just rewired" - check the connections on the end of the harness ot the switch and also on the flasher unit.

Light Green wire to terminal P on flasher can, Green wire to B (or X), Green/Brown wire to L

all sorted turned out to be a brand new faulty flasher unit thanks for all your advice
