I want to know , have an adjustment to set it to the point ? ( in between point set and the Bolt ( look image)) how many rotations Wont to set it ?
Re: MM1000 Fuel Pump
Hi Sandun,
This bolt connects to the diaphragm and operates the pump. It should be screwed in until the points only just trip over and then back one full turn. Note you need to reassemble the points first and then tighten this from the valve end. Here is a video that shows the whole process:

Re: MM1000 Fuel Pump
Thank you - I Have remove only all Point set ( Back side of pump (wire side)Look image like this ) then tell me , how to adjust it without remove Diaphragm side -
Re: MM1000 Fuel Pump
You should have counted the number of turns you unscrewed the old points set - the new set is now would on the same number of turns..... But just wind it on a few turns - then try the pump on the battery - if it runs, fine - if it doesn't try another turn. As mentioned above - it needs to be wound on enough so the points 'trip over' when the power is applied - the movement of the diaphragm causes the points to move and so they open, and the diaphragm falls back again and so it goes on until the pressure of fuel holds the diaphragm back and doesn't allow the points to break open......
