2 speed wipers Push-Pull Type switch

I am in the process of swapping my clap hands style wipers over to a two speed wipers.
A two-speed motor is on the way. It has a 46-tooth, 100-degree gear wheel.
This is the same as the original wiper motor so I think that solves the motor problem.
Now I am trying to find a dash switch to operate the two-speed wiper motor.
I think it takes four wires because of the park feature.
The kits sold by the vendors all use a toggle or flick type switch.
I would like to use a Push-Pull Type or twist switch so I can use the original knob.
Has any one done this conversion to a dash switch or have any ideas on what might work?

Thank You for your time & help,

Vigil

Just use the two position (light) switch and change the knob!

I was thinking of using the light switch when i first started this project.
I was hoping some one was one step ahead of me and had tried it.
It is good to hear that works with the 2-speed wipers.

Thank You to every one for there replies.
You have made my project much easier.

Further to previous replies, I intend to do the same, you can get the switch and knobs from Holdens http://www.holden.co.uk/

I likewise want to convert my clap hands wipers to 2-speed and want to wire it up according to the wiring diagram as given above ( http://www.vitessesteve.co.uk/LucasStuf ... tuff2.html ), using a Morris 3-position light switch with the W knob on, thus retaining the original appearance. But I am unclear as to where to get a 2-speed motor with the correct gearing/wheels? What did you use charlie_morris_minor? Does the kit supplied by Birmingham Morris Minor Centre work with the wiring diagram above or do I need to source an old Triumph 2000 motor or Spitfire MKIV ...?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: ... just found the other thread here http://www.mmoc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f= ... er#p324499 which looks like it answers my question. Not sure how to turn the park wheel around 180 deg though ...

the 2nd custom and modified newsletter covered fitting 2 speed wipers and i am happy to forward it to anyone how is interested, just drop me a pm with your email address.

i assume by turning 180 degrees are the wheel boxes.. i.e. the part of the mechanism the wipers attach to. The problem is that the gear wheels in wheel boxes move backwards and forwards so one side gets all the use and wears out, whilst the other half gets no use.

so remove your wiper arms, pull out the drive cable, turn each of the pegs / dowels (that the wiper arms are attached to) through 180 degrees and then push the drive cable back in and reattach your wiper arms.
