HS4 Carb Cone filter - which one?

Hi. Slowly getting on to fitting the HS4 carb to my car. One quick question, MiniSport have 3 options:
K&N Cone : £54
K&N 'Style' Cone (not genuine) - £30
Pipercross Cone - £38

For the price difference - would I notice a difference if I went for the cheaper K&N style over the genuine K&N one? For £8 more is it worth getting the Pipercross which is still a performance brand but different style of filter?

Cheers

I have a 'style' type one by moto (I think). I know when I bought it (2nd hand) that it was very dusty on the outside and clean on the inner. Which is good. Not scientific, granted.
I don't know if the 'style' ones are worse. K&N from what I've read (Vizard) are the best out there and do the job very well.

I was toying with the idea of fitting an MGB air box unit (also 1.5 SU although they have 2), and buying a K&N filter to go in it. Less 'roarty' perhaps, unless you like the sound. And looks 'similar' to the 1098 unit.

I have also opened up the hole on the 1098 air box mounting plate and fitted that to a 1.5 SU. Cheap if nothing else.

Some good ideas there - cheers.
I will see how I get on with the K&N. I am a lover of good engine sounds I put a K&N on the parents Vectra V6 which sounds gooorgeous and when I had mine temporarily on the old carb, it sounded nice but time will tell as its a daily driver :)
