Don't waste another two door, we've butchered to many for our desire for convertibles. if you've got a two door and want a convertible, have the best of both fit a westabo sun top.

seeing as the rear screen surround seems to be staying in place, i'd imagine they are lowering the roof and leaning the rear screen inwards.

there's a red minor on ebay at the mo with a 4 inch chop. looks like they made a good job of it, but the proportions look a bit strange. i hope you do a better job of it!

have you got a build thread on the go? would be good to see all of the pics in one place.

a very interesting read. mighty impressed with the little 'patch' on the roof, must have taken some shaping!

should look even better when lowered at the back.

just needs some power to match the looks now!

Cheers Chris,

More power would be nice, but quite happy with the running cost of a stock motor and it still goes sideways around roundabouts!

Chopped minors look out of proportion. Like an elephant sat on them.

kenny.

Well done, impressive work. I agree it needs the power to match ;) but a good start. Has anyone ever done a 1-2" roof chop on the minor? Imo that would make it look slightly more sporty without looking majorly hotrod

@ Alex'n'Ane,
I think some have taken out 2" but it makes it a bit hard to notice i think.
In my opinon, which is worthless these days,if your gonna chop it,you gotta take a decent slice....i would if it was cake! lol
