hi to all in the mmoc my name is dave seed and i run a little classic car buisness called marton green classics in bridlington east yorks i have recently bought a 1970 "h" minor 4 door saloon in green which has a factory fitted metal sunroof i am restoring the car to sell and wondered if any body else has come across a moggie with a roof like this fitted as i would like to get it working again as i think it is a really nice and probably rare feature any info would be really appreciated cheers dave s.

Don't think it would have been factory fitted, more lickely would have been fitted by a specialist coach builder instead, but i do stand to be corrected if i'm wrong, would suggest you research coach builders that BMC used for specialist conversions, i know of two travelers that have been coach built, one for a Duke and one for Queen Mother (RIP).

ok thanks for that i have just been looking through the history and it has spent a good 20 odd years in hong kong so im thinking it might have been fitted there would it help if i tried to put a picture of it on here do you think?

I agree - as far as I know never offered as a Factory Option....

There is this one with a webasto sunroof- i assume it is aftermarket, but i do not have any info on it as I only saw it at a show.[frame][/frame][frame][/frame]
