Help please - Brake & Clutch pedals

My ongoing restoration project I now want to reinstall the clutch and brake pedals. I have the shaft, the 2 pedals, brake return spring, cotter pin and spacing washer. Does the spacing washer go on the shaft between the 2 pedals or to the right of the brake pedal? Thanks in anticipation.

From memory goes between the 2 pedals, so thats to the left of the brake pedal (pedal should then sit centrally in the chassis leg). Make your you use plenty of copper grease on it when you are reassembling it as they are prone to sticking/seizing
