Can you tell me what are the A ,B,C,D, For what ?[frame]

A)The detent mechanism so you have to push harder to get reverse.
B) Anti-rattle plunger.
C) A random hole.
D)It's the fulcrum that the lever pivots on.
You can just see the top of the slot that it fits into above it on the lever.

B is a spring loaded plunger to 'steady' the lever. C is a hole.... A I really don't know - was it maybe the reverse light switch location - I'm just guessing.

Exactly as MarkyB has described - please see the picture taken from the MM Parts Manual below.
'A' is to give some resistance to selecting reverse, so that it is not used accidently!
If you would like a copy of the actual picture, which is A4 size and easier to read, please let me know.

I was editing it when you posted, for some reason I went straight to D) and just answered that.
I was doing A) B) and C) having gone back and opened the question in a new tab so I could refer to it while answering.
