Can you tell me what is the Best way to clean my morris minor 1000 Radiator - I am going to do , Remove the Bottom hose of the radiator , and take a water hose that has joint to a water tap , then the water hose attach to the hose of the engine (place of the Radiator bottom hose had Attach to the Engine ) next open the radiator cap ,after that open the water tap and Start the engine (Water must come out of the open Radiator )

Can you tell me , I have seen a small tap side of the engine- What is this Small Tap that has set to the Engine , for what ? when I Open it ,not any thing come out of the tap - the tap is always off position - tell me for what this Small tap ?
How to use this ?

Only clean your radiator if the engine is overheating.
If the tap on the side of the engine is blocked then remove it and clean it out. Attach a hose to the heater tap and run water though it wih the tap open to clear the sediment out of the block.
To clean the radiator you need to drain it and remove it from the car. Shake it to loosen any crud in it then flush it out with a hose in the top and bottom of the rad. If the capillery tubes are blocked this may not clear them and the radiator will need to be professionally pressure cleaned or need a new core.

Try the hose pipe if you like - but DO NOT run the engine while doing this...... Probably need to remove the side tap (carefully) and then probe inside the block with a piece of wire. beware - removing the bottom hose will probably ruin it - so don't do this unless you have a new one ready to fit. Unless the engine is overheating - I do suggest you leave it all well alone!
