Hello Sandun,
if you mean by bruising that it is scratched then it is not an easy job to repair. The best way is to get another screen, but that depends on where you live if they are easily available?
Otherwise it needs some diamond paste to polish out the scratches but ifthey are deep that may bring other problems?

I have polished out light scratches with cutting compound followed by Brasso. It's a long hard job.....

A cutting compound is ok for paintwork - not good for glass! Use "Jewellers Rouge" - available from Amazon.
This will rub out scratches in glass.

It's true that the scratches are difficult (time consuming) to remove. It is possible to do with different grades of glass polishing discs, an electric (or air powered) polisher and lots and lots of patience.

Google "windscreen" and "glass" "scratch removal" and with "video" for even more info....

I tried Jeweller's rouge (which is just ferrous oxide = rust...) and it was far too slow. The cutting compound worked well, but left a dull/matt finish, which was then polished up with Brasso. It works!

I've heard of toothpaste being used too, I'd try it in an inconspicuous spot first though.
Avoid using the wipers and washers to clean the screen, you live in an environment which has a lot of abrasive dust in it.
