How do I fit a rear seat belt?

I've just brought a '71 two door Moggy and need to fit a rear seat belt to hold a child seat. As a newbie to Minors could anyone advise me how to fit one and what fittings I would need? Do I need to weld the belt bracket into place or does it just screw in?

Many thanks.

Quote from a previous poster:"OK, I think I`ve found some answers! I decided to Google the same question and bingo; I get taken to the Morris Minor Owners club forum. So why such a problem to search the forum for the answers that are here anyway? I tried many combinations/ advanced search but did`nt get anywhere. Next time I`ll just Google, it`s so much quicker!!!!!!!!"

Maybe that is your best route! Certainly putting "rear seat belts" in the search box on here doesn't help much!

Oh and welcome to the friendly forum :D

The mountings certainly don't 'weld on' - and since the rear seat folds down, make sure you attach the straps in such a way that the seat won't affect them if it collapses forward in an accident. It may be worth securing the seat back so it WILL NOT fold forwards.
