Hi,
Might seem a bit daft, but how do I get access to the washer jets and wiper spindles ?.
Looks like you have to get at them from the inside, but the glove box seems to be in the way, how do I remove the glove box ?

Depends on the year of the car, but broadly speaking, there should be screws at the bottom of the glovebox liner. Undo these, and remove the screws. Gently push the liner forward so the raw edge is visible and manouvre it out through the glovebox hole. For the driver's side it isn't necessary to remove the steering wheel, but it certainly helps!
There may be extra fixings for the front cover or glovebox doors on later cars, but I've got an earlier one, so I can't be of much help there.

There are two methods of removal, each depending on where you are located!
