Hi, I'm going to be patching some areas on my saloon:

1. A small patch on the floor, in front of the passenger seat

2. A bit of inner wing at the back

3. I need to make a new section of the offside engine tie panel

4. I need to make a 'bit' for the nearside front engine bay, where it bolts to the front panel

Could somebody tell me what thickness of metals I need for these areas?

0.9mm(20 gauge/swg) thick is what I generally use for any general panel work. 1.2mm(18 gauge/swg)if that is what is around, and I want to make sure of it! 1.6mm(16 gauge/swg) for chassis work and reinforcing areas.
