Steel round Stockport?

Anybody know a shop round Stockport where you can buy 'bits' of steel?

Dont know about Stockport but my local motor factors stock 2ft x 3ft sheets, last I bought was £14.

You can buy thin steel plates etc at B&Q. If your looking for more serious stuff,there is a steel stockholder in Poynton,on the Macclesfield road,heading out of Poynton. Think it's called Pickles and sons ?
