Hi everyone It's hoped that our branch will be taking to the roads next month (October) for our Late Summer Run. we intend to travel from our meeting place "The Barn". and travel North up to the Brecon Mountain Railway. The date hasn't yet been set but it's hoped that the 9th Oct will suit most owners. If you would like to come along with or without your Morris then please let me know.
November 6th is our "Poppy Run" where we should hope to visit the Miners Memorials at Six Bell in Abertillery and Blackwood.
Times for both events will be mentioned here very soon.
Raymond.

I realise your no longer on line now, but is there any chance we could stop somewhere on top of maerdy mountain for a photo shoot, before the fall into aberdare. There is a small car park on the top.
Hope weve all got good brakes, because the fall off maerdy mountain into aberdare is a good'n.
Hope to see you all tomorrow morning.

Many thanks for an enjoyable day yesterday, we really enjoyed it. Ok we all took a 'small' scenic route of the brecon beacons amonst the sheep, but we were meant to do that
I hope to upload some photos off my phone when I figure out how to do it.
Cheers
Steve

Thank You Everyone who attended our branch runs and events for 2011. I hope everyone enjoyed them selves and that you will support us in 2012. We have already handed over to our regestered charity Welsh Air Ambulance £75 that were collected in our Raffles that were held on each of our runs and awarded "Best Car of the Day" awards to 6 owners. And we will be doing more next year. I am not sure what other branches have in their members fleet but our South Wales branch can boast of a varied fleet. MM's, Saloons, (Both 2&4dr) Tourers, Travellers, Pick-ups, LCVs and my old friend the Police Panda.
We have just one more run to organise and that is our branch "Poppy Run" on Sunday Nov. 6th. Weather permitting we gather at the barn and leave at 10am. Travel to Newport and then North up to Abertillery to the old "Six Bells" colliery and view the Miners Memorial
[frame]

[/frame]
We then intend to travel back down the other side of the valley and stop off at the Cwmcarn Forrest Drive.
Unfortunenatly I have been asked to do some Festive work, Ho Ho. Hoing, at a local cinima so would be leaving the second part of the run early....
If the weather is not in our favour then we will discard the run and add it onto our busy 2012 list.
Thank You one and all.
Raymond.
