Hello Sandun,

the battery voltage seems normal, but you need to check the battery terminal connections are tight and clean and also the battery earth cable connection to the body and the earth strap between the engine and the body.

A good battery left for one month will still start the car. A marginal or failing one may not.

Take the spark plugs out (make sure that you know which lead goes to which plug). Om neutral, does the engine turn freely using the handle? If no, then there is a problem with the engine. If yes, then refit the plugs and proceed as below.
Turn the headlights on and check that they are bright. Are they bright? Yes = battery charged, no = battery low. With the lights still on, try starting the car. If the engine will not turn and/or the lights go dim, then it is either the battery or the connections as suggested by Alec.

I'm guessing you may be somewhere with plenty of SUNSHINE ! A small photovoltaic battery charger will keep your battery nicely topped up. Mine mange to do so even in the weak/infrequent winter sun in Scotland. Meantime - can you use jump leads from another vehicle to get your engine started - and then run the engine for at least 15 minutes at good revs - and then tell us what the battery voltage is while the engine is running. A lead-acid battery will often show a 'surface charge' voltage of just over 12 volts, while actually being pretty much flat. A better reading would be the specific gravity of the electrolite if you can measure that?

Yes - if it's in good condition. Have you charged it up lately?

friend bmcecosse ,the Battery is new ,But it low now ,I have to charge - multimeter reads 12.03 v ,Hydrometer read RED line
,cant Start the car . If Start ,Engine is tuning slow and Ignition Light not off- so the battery I put to charge
- I check my Platinum point ,It is new But I See ,it was Damage - I think The Problem is the Condenser - I find a Original Condenser ,Now I am going to change it

Platinum Point ?? Yes - charge the battery - it's flat! The solar charger IS the answer if the car is not going to be used regularly.
