How best adjusting control Box of morris minor 1000

Hi- I adjust the Control Box ( regulator scroew) of my morris minor 1000 -1957 car ,can you tell me is it okay ? - Adjusting the Control Box - I remove the A1, A wires and joint them together and check voltage between D and E when close the point it was 8v , Then raise the engine full and check voltage between D and E it was 15.5 - 16 v

can you tell me when raise the engine full , + - terminals (when connect a multimeter to + - of battery) of battery How many voltage must read the multimeter ? how to know the battery is charging ? my ignition worming Light is light scarcely (When start and put neutral gear), when rais the engine light off

Can you tell me ,when the morris minor 1000 -1957 cars is break down ,where is a break down cable set for draw the car from another vehicle ?

Leave the contol box adjustment to a qualified auto electrician. It should not need touching unless there is a fault and then the problem is more usually the dynamo.
You will have to buy a set of jump leads (breakdown cables) and keep them under the boot floor next to the spare wheel. They are not supplied wth the car.
Or do you mean a tow rope which you will also have to buy?

If you have the starting handle, you have no need of jumper cables (if you can use the handle without injuring yourself).

The voltage you see there indicates the dynamo IS charging. It will not charge at low engine speed - it must be held at a 'fast idle' to have any hope of worthwhile charging. If you need to tow the car with a rope - tie it around both the tie-bars, or round both the lower front suspension arms. DO NOT attach just to one side......
