side indicators
hi guys i have a morris 1000 1961 and it has had side repeters at one point but are noe covered up and painted, would it be a total nightmare to reinstate theses flick out indicators

the hole is still there but there is a plate on the back of the hole

Well - if the plate can be easily removed - it should be straightforward -if the mounts are still present inside the pillar.

If you are refering to the trafficators then it should be a case of obtaining a pair and fitting them in the existing holes once you have removed the blanking plate. With a bit of luck the wireing will still be in place. How you wire them up will depend on what indicators you are useing

and dont say from the club i have just joined and got an email saying be up to 2-3 weeks before i get my id number

They are available commercially but make sure that you get the correct type, sorry can't remember the Lucas part number

the trafficators regularly come up on ebay (search on semaphore as well), but they are usually just the trafficators not the mounting bracket, fortunately that is only a strip of thin steel shaped to pick up the mounting points in the body work and hold the trafficators...the bracket is still attached to this one....

well took the interior panel of today at the trafficator there appears to be duck tape holding the plate on to the bady ond it has been painted the same colour as the car on the outside i can see one bare wire going to a screw that is tight on the screw but nothing else so it looks like i need everything to make it work HEEEELP
