After 6 months I have finially got my morris running! However above around 2000rpm it starts missfiring when under load. Any ideas?
Also I have many tuning bits and tuned engines to fit a mini, what parts could I use on my minor?

Check all the connections and make certain that the ponits securing screw is done up tight. Have a good look at the LT connection to the dizzy - the wire is very thin and could be creating an intermittent loss of power. Try (if you haven't already) replacing the points, plugs, condensor, rotor arm, dizzy cap &c. (all part of a service kit from Minor Parts suppliers).

Hope this helps. :D

Depending upon WHICH Mini tuning parts you have....... you can basically use everything except cranks, blocks and sump/gearboxes. Especially if you are talking about a Mini 1100!

If it's misfiring under load then it's missing when the vac advance is moving. Check for a dodgy points connection/condenser short/electical problem in the dizzy region. If everything checks out OK then maybe it's carb related??

all the advice given is good. If ther missfire goes when you change the rotor arm you will not be the first to be affected by a bad one. - it's becoming common.

Hello Everyone.

I also seem to be having the same problem but with "Olive" I get a popping sound coming from the exhaust when I take my foot of the gas pedal is this normal or does "Olive" want some "Olive Oil " Ha-Ha
