Hi all.I have a new parcel shelf to fit,my old one has a steel bracket fixed to it in front and central of the heater duct, this was bent when I bought the car and could not work out where it would connect under the dash.I presume it is to give the shelf support, has anybody got any ideas?

Hi I don't know the differance. The original is of a fiberboard type material going from passenger to drivers side with some type of heater duct in the middle and a rubber buffer fixed onto the front. The buffer and heater duct have been put onto the new shelf from ESM.I hope this makes sense?

Ok,63 two door delux. The shelf is now fitted,it was a bit of a pain to say rhe least. The metal clip was actually attatched to the duct in the middle of the shelf and not the shelf itself as I'd said it was, with the new shelf however it seams to have found its way to sit just behind the on/off switch for the speedo lighting although there is nothing to attatch it to or with!
It looks very much like the one in the top picture, thanks
