We're moving house to a place about 500 yds down the road. I'll need to shift the Lowlight so I've been permitted to go out and buy a....[frame]Image[/frame]

Built-in ramps, 4-wheel brakes, winch. After sticking the Lenham Healey on it I was able to get underneath to adjust the handbrake. Better than a pit in the garage and safer than a 2-post lift. Cost me £400.

Woohoo!

As long as you have somewhere to park it.... It's 'always' going to be worth that £400. And maybe - if you 'lend' it out for £25 a trip - it will soon pay for itself!

New house has about 3/4 acre and 4 garages, one pair of which is double skinned, heated, has hot and cold water, a sink and an 18 foot by 8 electric garage door. Garage-mahal!
The owners had to sell in a huge hurry so they knocked a huge sum off for anyone who could complete in 6 weeks without the risk of a chain. We got lucky!

Wow, that looks great! Plenty of storage for those 'rainy day' projects. The question is - are you allowed to keep cars in the garden?

Interested to know why the last owners had to leave such a nice house in such a hurry?

I hope you have strong will power, with all that space and a trailer you could soon fill it with rusty old motors!
I know I would :) .

They're moving to SA before christmas and need to get their stuff into a 40 foot shipping container. He is leaving the contents of his workshop (Oxy, Mig, lathe, mill, benches, sockets, spanners etc etc) collected from 40 years in the RAF and then teaching engineering. Woohoo!
He still has a Gilbern Genie and 2 Fergie tractors to shift from the back garden, plus spares inc 2 TVR engines in bits. Anyone?
