Morris Minor Owners Club

Hi,
How wide alloys will fit on a standard 1961 morris minor? Can you put spacers on to fit wider wheels? I'm looking at a set of minilite wheels that are nice but they are 7 inches wide so not sure if they will fit or look right!

might be a bit wide. i think 6 inches would be on the limit based on the distance between top trunnion and wing.

i've got 5.5 inch wide minilites on mine, with 185 tyres. A 1/4 inch spacer means the tyre just clears the top trunnion, but put the outside edge right in line with the wing.

Where are you finding 7" wide wheels with 4" PCD to suit a Minor?? As above - 5.5" seems to be the best combo.
