Pre-engaged starter
Does anyone have a guide (or link to a guide) for the maintenance/overhaul of a pre-engaged Lucas Starter Motor? This for my TR7 - the solenoid contacts are dirty and it doesn't always 'strike' every time I turn the key. Spare starter already fitted - so no great hurry - but I would like to put the original starter back on the car. Roy
