Traveller window 2.. Felt guides...

Post by Arthurdaily »

Hi

I have removed the two felt guides that sit in the UPRIGHTs, front and rear, is this the right stuff to replace them with please:

Plus how do they stay in place? Is it gum-gum and a couple of small tacks? (that was what was there when I removed the disitigrating ones!)

By uprights I mean these two:[frame]Image[/frame]

Yes, that's the right felt from ESM. They give you the right amount as well.

As for fitting A sausage of DumDum down the side and then the felt held in with little pins. Make sure you hit them very firmly home so they dont foul the glass.
