There's a reference to GA Brittain in a thread entitled "Minor Quest" posted 18th June 2011 by bpr81a in General Discussion. Someone enquiring about a SerII Black '55 4dr they used to own. It's not the one you have is it?

If you have a look on the Northern Ireland MMOC web site Stevey has written up a bit about Brittans cars. They built lots of BMC cars from CKD completely knocked down kits using local labour, glass and trim. They were usually fionished in slightly different colours as well. The glass will have a shamrock etched in the glass rather than the British Kite Mark.

The Irish MMOC might also be able to provide some info:

hi all it was i that looked at johns car, it has the id plate (brittains) on the bulkhead & the shamrock etched onto the glass it is also originally a rare aqua colour under the rear seat, dash headcloth all the hard places to repaint, i only remarked this in passing as i had never seen one in the flesh so to speak i wasnt professing to be an expert in all things minor lol michael
