Morris Minor Owners Club

Hi There

I was wondering if any Morris Minor owner in the Yorkshire area would be so kind as to consider hiring their Morris Minor and themselves out as a chauffer for my bridal car next year and earning some extra spend's!? Sunday 3rd June to be precise! I would love to arrive to my wedding in a Morris Minor as I love them but am struggling to find a company which hires them out in South Yorkshire.

It would be a one way journey and some photo's.

I would really appreciate anyone wanting to discuss this!

i'm far from local, but i do have family locally to you. If you get totally stuck, let me know via pm, and i'll see what i can do. It'd be dependent on uni term dates (Should be finished by then!)[frame][/frame]

Charlie Lisa may live in Sheffield but the car may be for the groom and South Yorkshire is not a small place and i was just asking to clarify and offer my services free

Try contacting the local Barnsley Branch, I know one or two members are supplying cars for a wedding in Sheffield this year, so depending what sort of Minor you want it would be worth a call.

Hello Lisa,
although I usually just do weddings in the south east of England, last month, I re-arranged my visit up North to Scotland to co-incide with a wedding in Newcastle, where the bride wanted to arrive at church in a white Minor convertible. As this worked out surprisingly well, I could possibly do the same next year if you can't find a car more local to you. I would have to ask you to pay for accomodation in addition to the usual fee, as I would have to stop overnight locally to you the day before the wedding.

Is the location of the wedding fairly close to the route south such as the A1??
