what colour should the kick plates be?
primrose is the overall colour of the car, yet my kick plates are silver. is this right? or should they match the main colour of the car?

Aluminium plain finish on early cars, some sort of enameled silver steel on later cars, so yours are right. Quite hard wearing, whatever it is.

Does that apply to Vans/Pickups as well?

Ive sprayed the kick plates on my pickup body colour. Is that right or wrong? Although saying that Ive always fancied stainless steel versions.
