According to DVLA it is SORNed.

Knock on the door and make them an offer? Holiday present to yourself?

I wish I could - I already have two Minors, and one of those is a project in my garage. It does look like someone has already left a note under a windscreen wiper, but I couldn't see what it said as the writing had washed off. Shame to see it decay like that, though. It had a 2010 tax disc on it, so it can't be in too bad a condition.
