Where to fit rear speakers in a traveller?

I want to fit some speakers in my trav, but don't want to cut any holes in the trim.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can achieve this?

hi
there are two big circular cutouts under the glove boxes, a sheet of hardboard can be fitted with holes cut for the speakers.

i've seen a rear parcel tray/load cover on a traveller. made from wood boards that just sit on the top edge of the wood on the inside (with little rubber buffers to stop it rattling/rubbing). they butt up nicely to the top edge of the rear seat and the inside of the back doors. this particular traveller had speakers mounted in one board, presumably with a simple plug so that the boards can be removed easily.

Have rear speakers waiting to go in the trav myself. The best idea I've heard is speaker boxes under the front seats, facing backwards. Will post a picture if I ever get around to fitting them.

I have put them in the trim panel each side of the parcel shelf. The body of the speaker goes in the kidney shaped dished panel behind. On our convertible we put them in boxes under the seats.

5" speakers in the front scuttle panels work a treat, but I believe Moray was asking about rear speakers.

Hi
I know this thread is from last year but does anyone have any pictures of where they have fitted their speakers (front and back) ?
Thanks
Andy

I would rather listen to the engine on the road than the radio on the hard shoulder
