SUN VISORS

Hi all, anyone have any pics of correct sun visors for a 61 convertible and how/where they are fitted. Owned mine since the 80's, never had any visors and there are no screw hole clues on where they would be attached if fitted. Now need to consider sorting this out as we seem to be having a lot of sunshine of late (global warming they tell me), it has nothing to do with my age and that some badgers have better eyesight than me.

Here'a a pic of my DIY sun visors on a 64. Those brackets are quite expensive if you are going to retro-fit.

Might be better to DIY it until you can find some second hand ones.

This might save you some money:

Thank you for that. Will have a look through my boxes of bits, you never know what i might find. There are no screw holes on mine so guessing it never had visors as standard. Just had a look through my original minor book and it appears that the majority of the early ones left the factory visor-less, how odd.

Whats your thoughts on these as a modern alternative? Not sure if the brackets would work without having them to hand to try.[frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame]
